¿Does a shot from 45 degrees hit the front or the side armor?

¿When a shot to a vehicle is considered to be hiting the front or the side armor?. Those shots that make a perfect 45 degrees ¿are hiting the front armor?

Thanks, I could not find anywhere.

Looking at the code, I THINK it's going to count as hitting the front armour.
