My Obsolete troops always act like a reserve force in keeping. They keep cities safe from being drop podded by a single trooper. In released version it works. Unit equipped with this device will heal other units in same tile by the amount they themselves heal. I used the Sws headhunter as a way to weaken the enemy unit so that a colonial trooper will have 100% chance of defeating it with one strike with it's lance guns during colonial era. They already spawn, just increase the aggression to very high and you'll see it happen often.

However, if the hives is gone, they're gone.
Same can be said for sea giants too, I've never seen a kraken.

What happens when you're out of minerals? I've ran out of them before and stayed at 0 but from what I see.. it does nothing. It tends to happen when you're transiting to new era and building new stuff you're not used to yet or many many many cities is building something at once before they're grown ...

Open diplomacy tab, then mouse over any other factions you have met there, a popup will appear showing it's status with other factions it has met. If it is at war against someone else it will be listed as war in there in red text.
