Re: Enemy turn moves way, way too fast

That only seems to slow down my units movement speed, not during the enemy turn. I want to slow down the enemy turn's movement speed. Unless I am blind and not seeing this option. I only see one slider for movement speed, and it only slows down my units moving during my turn. If it does indeed slow ...

Enemy turn moves way, way too fast

Please add an option to slow down the enemy turn. As soon as I click end turn, they are shooting at me and moving all over the place. There is not even a second or two break after clicking end turn. I can't even follow what's going on with the computer turn moving this quickly. Please let us slow it...

Re: Rebind keys and other missing UI features

I am starting to agree with you rezaf. 1. The tooltips don't show the hotkey associated with them, like Panzer Corps did. Like the strategic map icon (In Panzer Corps it showed the associated hotkey, F5 I believe). These tooltips are as basic as basic can be. 2. I hope they fix the no tooltip on dis...

Rebind keys and other missing UI features

Frustrating. I always prefer using WASD to move my maps in games like this. Are you going to add key binding, please?

Shouldn't this be standard in every PC game by now?

Alt-tabbing out of the game does not recover

Windows 7 64-bit, Nvidia GTX 760, 1920x1200 resolution I alt-tabbed out of the game during the first conversation in the tutorial, before the mission even begins. When I tried to switch back to the game, my screen was just completely black, and I could hear the people continue talking. But, I could ...

Re: Can we get a PC UI?

Wait, there are no tooltips?!? Uh oh, I just bought this game, too. Tooltips are essential for wargames, to know what all the stats and everything are.

I sure hope this didn't get iPad-ized like the OP suggested. I will see once it is done downloading and installing, but please say it isn't so.

Re: Variable army points for MP games

Nice, klayeckles! Would you mind please expanding on that? How did you do that? Every multiplayer game I have played, or set up, was only 200 points.

Re: Good game.

And let us decide the army point limit for MP games. 200 is way too small, and makes for very boring MP matches. I know I stated this in another thread, but I don't think I can state it enough. MP is no fun in this game because of this limitation.

Re: Variable army points for MP games

Thank you, Hoof. When might we see skirmish MP maps. As of now, I have decided that multiplayer is lame and boring due to the 200 point maximum. I will play the campaign missions, but I am done with multiplayer. 200 points gives you absolutely NO wiggle room. You lose one or two units and it's game ...

Re: Variable army points for MP games

I have started five multiplayer games so far, and they all just give you 200 points to spend on your army. This is pretty boring. I hope you will add the ability to let the player choose how many points they want when setting up an MP game. Or, am I the only one who thinks this is an issue, given th...

Variable army points for MP games

I sure wish multiplayer games let you pick how large an army you wanted to play. As far as I can tell, you only always get 200 points.

That makes for some smallish skirmishes, without much variety from game to game. Why didn't you allow the game to have variable army points in the MP game setup?

Re: The Steam store page for Warhammer 40,000 Armageddon is

The trailer is cool for a cinematic video, and I'm sure a lot of work was put into it. But, it has absolutely zero gameplay. I don't understand why game trailers are still made that don't show gameplay.

Re: Sound effects and zooming out

Thank you, Galangalad. That is why there is a volume slider, for the folks who don't want to hear the sound effects. Those who do should be able to. As it is right now, we are not able to. It is a bug in my opinion, the sound effects volume is set to cut out way too soon. I sure hope you will consid...

Re: Tips for beginners?

The developers mentioned in another posting, I think on Steam, that there is no carry over of units and/or experience between battles. Which is a major, major bummer, especially since they said the mechanic is already in the game and can be used in the editor. Why, for the love of all holy, would yo...

Sound effects and zooming out

I really think the volume of the sound effects turns quiet way too soon when zooming out. Most of the time I am playing zoomed out just a bit, enough to see a good portion of the area, and I can barely hear the sound effects, often not at all. I have to zoom in pretty darn close in order to hear the...

Re: A few more random questions

Thank you both. I think that is kind of silly to reduce the sound effects that much when zoomed out a little bit. I want to be zoomed out so I can see more of the map. To have to zoom in every attack just to hear the spell and combat sounds is a big nuisance. At least don't reduce the sounds that mu...
