Good question, but you were the invidious invader :)

But we are cooperative and helpful enemies, so let's say 'Crossus'

Peter Geordietaf and I just completed two amusing SoA games. My Anglo Irish managed to beat his Swedes in a curious game marked by a terrain whereby his side of the table was densely wooded. and mine open. As I had about 20 units of light troops, they raced across to the woods as fast as possible. H...

Peter, I think you were going to launch a second game?

Richard, have you beaten me twice yet under storm of arrows? If not feel free to launch another game!

Light foot stand against cavalry and rear charges

In a game I am currently playing, Swedish handgunners stand when charged by Danish mounted x-bows. There are no enemy troops behind them. There are friendly cavalry but as light foot can pass through them that should not be a problem. On a different issue, I haven't quite understood when or if a rea...

Game does not load under Windows 7

Pokke has posted a problem in the main forum, as follows, and we're waiting a reply, thanks: I recently tried to play the game again on this same computer. (Windows 7 -64) Noted that there was a patch. Downloaded and installed. But now I cannot get past the "Loading Game" screen. I tried complete re...

Allied bombing strategy

I wonder what people think about using a large force of bombers? In one game, against Craig who probably has worked this out, I have about 6 bomber units and am using against German rail caps, the oil site and the ruhr. I have also researched air quite a lot to make sure of getting higher quality bo...

Suggestion for the multiplayer games list

Maybe this point has already been made, but it would be nice to have a field in which to make a comment, for example game reserved for xxxx etc.

Greek Ptolomaic problem

I have designed a 400 pt list, which includes 4 Xystophoroi. However, only one cavalry is available at deployment - which is a bit disappointing. It certainly make the game more of a challenge. I also note that the minimum xystophoroi is 2 but system will not let you have less than 3.

I have played two games with Peter and am currently being (enjoyably) beaten by Chris and Richard in pairs of games.

Any other takers?

I'm an SOA member, and I'm already playing against Peter. If anyone else is interested in a game then let me know.

I'm also happy to organise a little SOA tournament if you're interested.

that's a pity, well maybe you can get advice from the forum on the grand strategy patch as I had no issues with it.

Send me a message if you ever get it installed and we can play!
