Re: Italian/Sicily wars from 1050-1300

I can thoroughly recommend: Georgios Theotokis, The Norman Campaigns in the Balkans, 1081-1108 (Boydell and Brewer, 2014) and (edited by same author) Warfare in the Norman Mediterranean (Boydell and Brewer, 2020).

Re: When will the Reconquista DLC be available?

Well, I finally managed to get the order in but it was tough. Constant gateway problems. I finally gave up on the slitherine site and went to Matrix. Not as bad but also some gateway problems. Finally got to submit order and guess what...gateway problem. Tried it one last time and the order finally...

Re: FoG II Terrain for Medieval! (UPDATED 2/6/2021)

Thanks Mord. Like you I prefer the textures from FOG II, and it's great for people to now have the option.

Another cryptic conversation  I'm 'guessing' this has something to do with a demo or a competition, but everytime Slitherine posts these things they put the onus on the reader to find out exactly what's going on, which makes me feel that they really don't want anyone else to attend apart from...

I entirely agree with Iain. I haven't played them all yet (but will), but those I have have been suitably challenging and great fun. Thanks for your time and effort - appreciated.

Another really enjoyable - and quite tough - scenario. I think it shows one of the major benefits of FoG - you can cover periods/campaigns not covered by any other game that I am aware of. Great stuff!!

Have you tried the scenario yet? How did you get on with it? In play-testing so far the Scots are doing rather better than they did back in 1513![/quote] Firstly, thanks for this scenario. I walked the battlefield only a couple of years ago and so it was good to play it. I agree, the Scots probably ...

Kujalar, Looking at what I think is the best secondary source for Crecy (and the campaign) - Andrew Ayton and Philip Preston's The Battle of Crecy, 1346 (Woodbridge, 2005), I think that your numbers for French (and allied) men-at-arms and Genoese crowwbowmen are probably right. We will never have th...

I'm playing in 1680x1050 (native resolution). Once I've finished and shut down (game and PC) the problem occurs when I restart my pc (either from shutdown or hybernation). I would say 9/10 times the desktop resolution has changed to 800x600. As you say, weird!
