Re: Game crashing

Yes, in every scenario and on lowest settings after restarting my PC. I just reinstalled SOW and now it's doing the same thing so maybe it is a hardware issue. I recently had to restore the PC to a time before I installed my NVIDIA card, but it accepted that latest update and looks fine in my system...

Re: Game crashing

Odd. I can run SOW Waterloo, Total War games and Rise of Flight without any problems, of course they're not Unity but have much higher 3D requirements. Perhaps OOB isn't optimized very well. Any other thoughts?

Game crashing

Hi, Just downloaded the free version of OOB to check it out. Seems like a fun system, but I can only run it in 2D mode. In 3D, my monitor goes black after a turn or two and I have to restart my machine to see anything. I've attached my DxDiag and output files. I've tried the other fixes suggested he...

Matrix login not working

I can log in here just fine, but not at the Matrix site. Support gave me a new password that did not work either. I need that because I can't update a beta I am testing nor post a problem I'm having with a game I just downloaded. Support stopped responding to me. Any help out there?

Re: Smoke effect

On the other hand, having persistent smoke would be a handy indicator of who has fired this turn ... something that is currently hard to determine without opening up the unit tab. Similarly, persistent dust would show who has moved which would be aesthetically better than the little arrow currently ...

Re: When the beta starts...

Thanks for the info. I have been a beta tester of FOG since the beginning so I'm surprised I wasn't selected this time.

Re: Game Manual Writers wanted

Hi there, That link you posted is not responding, so could you forward the following: I am interested in in writing manuals for Sltiherine. At one time I was in discussions with Ian about writing a proper manual for FOG Digital. I am a very experienced journalist having been published in major newsp...

My 2 cents: I like these changes so much that I might consider entering the league again.

No. I meant Carthage in Italy.

BTW, I noticed I have disappeared from the FOG rankings entirely. I know I lost every game last season, but really....

Thanks for doing this. Would it be possible to include scenario size and even possibly a rating?

Re: Wargaming should be banned....

As a professional journalist, I must point out that this work is not intended to be taken as journalism. It is not a story, nor is it an article. It is an op ed piece, pure and simple, and not a very good one at that. Think of it as an embarrasing letter to the editor written by your senile uncle or...

Re: LORDS OF THE HOLY LAND circa 1100 AD

Battle result: Crusaders (deeter) 38/39 vs. Turks (Bargation 1812) 35/34 A tough game that could have gone either way at the end. God was on the side of the Crusaders. That was my final game from round 1 and I have a few underway from the replays. With the departure of fogman, is anyone doing replay...

I have PMed a reminder to Bagration. I don't see a challenge from Mr. Grunt. Perhaps he could repost it?
