Main features

Skirmish level
Natural-scale environments with soldiers fighting in close combat at platoon level.

Area control missions
The main game mode is "area control". Objectives are spread across the map and players must capture them in order to control the battlefield and secure victory. This leads to exciting, fluid gameplay, forcing players out into the combat zone. An "annihilation" mode will be optional.

Realistic combat
Team Assault features a deep combat system that is both realistic and exciting. Weapon accuracy and penetration, cover versus weapon penetration, recoil, encumbrance and wounded soldiers are just some of the system's features.

Turn-based with good flow
Much effort has been put into making Team Assault a fast-flowing experience: dynamic turns, counter-actions and information feedback keep the player constantly engaged.

Having a realistic game system, Team Assault is deadly: soldiers are fragile and go down fast if hit (there are no health bars) so your environment, position, and to a lesser extent body armour, are all you have to rely on.

Tactical gameplay
Team Assault is all about tactics, managing your forces correctly, finding your opponent’s weakness and using the environment to your benefit. Bold actions may pay off if well executed, but careless moves cost lives.

Maintaining your team's morale, while damaging that of your opponent, is crucial: push your soldiers too hard, or put them in harm's way, and they will break. Better to hammer enemy squads or take down their leaders in order to make them break first.

Force Builder
Create your own custom squads using the game's Force Builder. Various items of gear and upgrades provide endless customisation. Name squads after your liking to create your own personalised task force.

Team Assault features an arsenal of 20 Allied and Axis weapons, ranging from pistols and sub-machine guns to rocket launchers and heavy machine guns, 8 different outfits, 7 combat disciplines, 4 equipment packs (such as medic kits and demolition charges), frag and smoke grenades, and ranks up to major--all at your disposal.

Fight friends or other players online via our multiplayer server. Show off your customised teams and climb our multiplayer ranking system. The game has a good flow and is ideal for multiplayer, allowing you to play a full match in a single session.kirmish level
