By the way, BNC, you will have to scratch the Sopwith Camel from the list... I don't remember if I uploaded it... But here it is... :-)
Also, will upload it to its "proper" thread.

I also find the air vehicles icons very nice!
I would just suggest to make their size smaller - like the PzC planes - because in this size they looks a little big.

The French Nieuport looks so life like that I'm rather concerned it might fly out of my monitor and start strafing my house!

Very sharp image. Nice work! :)

In that case, do not fear, just call the Stormtroopers!

Thank you for the feedback.

With the right size of the Icons...I think it's the same problem with the other modding stuff...you can't fix it not really to the pixel per meter measurement.

WW1 Fighter planes are almost nearly smaller than 10 meters...they could have all the same icon length...

Bomber planes a little bit bigger...

So every "Icon Group" should have a own "Measurement Base Icon" where these icons should follow with her size. My first fighter plane was oriented at the Fokker Triplane from Guille, so the starting point was fixed. Additional we can make a final proof round, if a unit looks too outranged, then we can correct it. :?:

I think two main points should be taken care:
1., That the icons are about the same size compared to each other per type.
2., That the icons grow not too big, that they take all visuals on the hex.

In the meantime, there was a free slot on the workbench to make a missed truck type for the German side,

You could use it for special transport tasks or so...

A relatively unknown fighter plane was the Caproni Ca 314 as a light bomber and torpedo carrier. But with the interesting form it has a something new look in the sky over Europe:

An interesting theme is also captured fighter planes in duty within the other side, for instance a B24, which were used from the Italians:

Mostly used for research work, but can also used for special "secret" missions?

I made a new Ju 52/3m g7e with visible gear, reduced side windows, bigger load hatch and the MG sight on the back. With the new DCS plane function we could make also different color schemes...

I am looking for a variety of soviet units never posted so far (tanks, infantry, artillery, etc). There is someone interested to fulfill my requests? :P

I would post that on guille's Multipurpose icons + More thread, if you are looking for the original graphics to be made. Reskinning... don't know.

For those, who looking for a new plane within Italian duty, here comes the Savoia Machetti SM 95. Planned as a transport aircraft with four engines and mid-range tasks, the real activity was limited.

For the second version I deleted the windows mainly on the side frames and set a back firing turret for self defence.

Thanks go to Guille for the camo layer on the Bomber (Italian style). Hopefully you didn't make the same icon for a special modder.

Greetings!

Absolutely adorable unit. I always loved Italian fighter planes, but this one is a beauty as well.
Cheers

Thanks Halibutt!

In addition to Messman sturmpioniere I created another version for land attack and sea transport. I don't know if that is an option, but the idea was, that you can use the pioneers within the rubberboat for attack and transport mode switchable... like a ship class in the equipment file.

If that is possible, then you can use these troops to go "over the water" to reach better places without heavy defences.

Have fun!

I like the assault pioneer boat - very nice.

I wish it would be possible to use those boat units as normal transport units without complications. But it turns out that you have to do "this and that" for it to work...

Anyway, thanks for the icon! :)
