Game is buggy, abandoned and dead...why sold?

Recently got the game via fanatical bundle. I won't mince words, its a joke. Full of bugs. Looking thru the forum here and on steam, the consensus is its been abandoned by everyone.

My question is this...why is slithering still selling this awful piece of software?

Hoping Shadow Empire is much better.
