The goal of this mod is to create battles with more realistic unit compositions and make the early game more fast-paced and the game as a whole more enjoyable to play with more focus on amassing basic infantry units and map control.

Are you wondering why most armies consist of unrealistic unit compositions? Do you enjoy long battle lines fighting for every inch? Do you like strategizing on a grander scale? Do you like to fight challenging opponents, even if it's the AI? If so then this mod might be for you!


This mod is mainly for the players who like to fight against AI, but can of course also be used for multiplayer. Changes have been made in a way that should make the AI able to use them properly.

This is still in early development. So if you think a faction became too strong because of these changes or too weak, give me your feedback and I will take a look at it. Things are subject to change!!!

I tweaked the stats of the units in a way that was most enjoyable to me. Balancing and testing has been made with the following setup:

- Difficulty medium
- Game pace standard

- Wildlife density low
- Artefact density very low
- Special Resource density low
- Ruins of Vaul density very low
- Trader camp density very low

- Arctic region density very low
- Desert region density very low
- Volcanic region density very low
- Tropical region density medium




I might've forgotten some changes, so if you realize something like that please tell me. Your feedback is appreciated.

Please also test this mod in multiplayer if you like. I'd be curious about the results.
