Re: BHGS Challenge @ UKGE 1/2 June 2019
Bookings are now open for the BHGS Challenge via the UKGE website. https://www.ukgamesexpo.co.uk/bookevents.php?subcat=bhg
Book tickets via the UKGE website. As usual, players will also need a pass to attend at least the Saturday & Sunday of UKGE as well as their event entry tickets. The expo is open on Friday, and many of the other events and a huge number of open gaming tables are open from Thursday, so those of you planning on making a long weekend of it may wish to book longer UKGE passes to cover Friday or Thursday also. With no "Take That" concert running at the same weekend this year, hotel prices are also considerably cheaper than in recent years, with Premier Inn & Travelodge - branded hotels currently showing as available for around £40/night only 10-15 minutes from the venue.
UKGE also features over 40 other miniatures and boardgame tournaments this year, including X-Wing, Blood Bowl and Star Wars Armada as well as a huge trade show, so there's plenty of opportunity to make this a weekend excursion for your entire club, whatever systems they are currently playing.

Re: BHGS Challenge @ UKGE 1/2 June 2019
Phil Jelley has pointed out that the UKGE website shows the FoG competition as 900pts, not 800.
Probably needs correcting. Both Phils can't be right ...

Re: BHGS Challenge @ UKGE 1/2 June 2019
In case any of our players at the BHGS Challenge have missed it, the arrangements for parking at the NEC have changed this year. It's now £12 per day, £14.40 for 2 days or £21.60 for 3 - however, to get the discounted rate you need to book in advance at https://www.ukgamesexpo.co.uk/carparking.php.
The booking is linked to your car registration so you can't share it!

Re: BHGS Challenge @ UKGE 1/2 June 2019
Just waiting two lists, neither players fault.
john sent a 900point list because that's what it says on the Expo site
Paul Longmore is filling in for me at short notice so there
As soon as I receive these I will publish

Thanks Phil - that's what you call an open period! 13 different armies from all 3 books. Should be fun!

The UKGE app, and my ticket, shows a 9:30 start. The BHGS site, which I assume is correct, says 09:00.
