Tim Childs has contacted me to ask about the running of a FoG:R comp at Warfare this year, and what sort of numbers might we expect.
He needs the info quite quickly - and I must pass on his apology for this being a bit of a rush but he has only just been asked by their committee who, inevitably, now want the info urgently.
He has also mentioned that Alasdair has approached WAR to see if a MeG Renaissance (ReG) competion could be run. Obviously if it were there would be 2 renaissance comps running and competing for the same player pool. Tim has hinted that FoG:R as the established game may have first preference, however, he wants to be as accommodating as possible.
Therefore, could I ask people to be honest when replying as to whether they would play a FoG:R comp at Warfare - it will do nobody any good if we can't give Tim an honest answer. If you'd prefer to do ReG no worries.
So could people get back to me ASAP please. We can sort a theme when we know we have a comp.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Warfare 2019
I very much doubt 2 events would be competing for the same player pool.
There are only 4 people who have played in at least one MeG(AM) and one FoGR event in the last 12 months, out of total of 50 active FOGR players and 65 active MeG Ancients players.
All 10 of the people who played in Alasdairs only MeGR beta event were also existing, active MeG AM player too, rather than FoGR(-only) players.
When/if MeGR is published it seems more likely that it may be adopted by a subset of the current pool of MeGAM players, rather than being picked up by people who currently largely play FoGR.

Re: Warfare 2019
So far I have had a very positive response via email - I think we can safely say that FoG:R is comfortably viable for Warfare 2019
