the game will not start

i just installed 40k gladius and when i tryed to start the game up i got this, how do i fix this for i really want to play the game. i got the from the steam store so you know

and do us a report so we can look for any errors on the (your) system?

How to get a DirectX Diagnostic file:

1. click on "START"
2. click "run"
3. type in "dxdiag" and click "OK"
4. check through the tabs and perform all tests
5. click "Save all Information..." and save the text file to a location of your choice

We prefer that DxDiag files be posted as message attachments rather than pasted into the body of the post.

once the report has been made, just attach it to your post with first adding the file to a zip, which is then permitted to attach to the forum

did you add the game to your AV safelist? have you checked for errors in it, just in case your AV stopped the process from running etc?

did you install the MVC++ version which came with the game? have you tried a repair etc?

i did the test and know idk what you want with this av safelist or mvc++ im new to pc gaming

thanks, and a report? or any mention of your Anti virus status? eg did you check to see if it stopped anything game related from running

add the game to your AV safelist, ran as admin etc from a admin account

a report will mention whats on your pc, hardware and drivers etc, without my replies are tbh just guessing.

ok, the game requires a version of Microsoft visual C ++ to be installed on the pc with the game, it's part of the pre requisites for running the game, steam should install it for you, if there's an error with it, the game won't work or run

without a report i have little idea on what's on your pc hardware and driver wise, so can't really say what's the issue so to tell you how to go forward, first i'd need a copy uploading of the report

some anti virus programs, eg avast and some other poor ones aren't game friendly and stop certain games from installing or running, again without knowing which you use or how you installed it, eg is steam running as admin etc, to the default location has the Anti virus log got any mention of a file being stopped at the same time the game was being run etc etc?

your report states you don't have a dedicated gpu, or graphics card?

so don't meet the minimum requirements to run the game

Display Memory: 1760 MB memory is system memory which is shared and isn't dedicated vram or video ram

sound drivers also Date and Size: 4/13/2017 but a bit more up to date

no game or system errors were uploaded with the report im sorry to say, so have no idea still on what caused the error,

i'd recommend upgrading the drivers for the video first, then see if the game works, plus a repair on the Microsoft Visual C++ version Redistributable version from the games folder

if either of these are done and still the game doesn't work, then please re post the error message again which may be a different one once the repair has been done

so unless someone else from staff support can say differently,.

imo i'd refund in steam, as your hardware doesn't support the game i'm sorry to say

i have pm'ed a member of the support staff who will comment asap on my findings, as from my searching on the Intel forums, the integrated gpu in your hardware report doesn't support the game

Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-2450M CPU the m stands for a mobile which implies a laptop etc, or i would have recommend a 1gb cheap graphics card to be installed, for around the same price as the game, but as it's a laptop, no way to upgrade 99% of the time so a mute point i'm sorry to say
