Chariotfest - Good News
Good news - we have 12 players and are ready to start 3 out of the 4 groups. Many thanks everybody for getting preferences in. There's been a slight hiccup as several people gave them by private message, so we have a bit of duplication. Apologies to Londo and Jonathan, but your choices have already gone. The remaining choices are 10. Early Carthaginian 2 and 11. Kyrenean Greek (Later). Could you let me know your preference from those 2 via the forum? First come first served again. Both are in Group D, so the other Groups can start immediately.
The rules are as already specified. The actual groups are as below. Please feel free to start the games asap. Simultaneous games are allowed/recommended as players prefer. Remember your 400 point army must contain 6 heavy chariots (or scythed chariots or war wagons)
Group A (paired games against both opponents. Start asap)
Early Carthaginian 1 Edmund_Blackadder
Kyrenean Greek (Early) allendeuce
26th Dynasty Egyptian 1 Ulysisgrunt
Group B (paired games against both opponents. Start asap)
Classical Indian 1 iandavidsmith
Early Achaemenid Persian (Cyrus) 1 MikeMarchant
26th Dynasty Egyptian 2 FroggySteve
Group C (paired games against both opponents. Start asap)
Mauryan Indian NikiforosFokas
Kyrenean Greek IMC
Early Achaemenid Persian (Cyrus) 2 LordNytram
Group D (paired games against both opponents. Start as soon as final army choices are known)
Early Carthaginian 2 Londo or Jonathan4290
Kyrenean Greek (Later) Londo or Jonathan4290
Classical Indian 2 Enakan
Any questions via the forum
Enjoy

What? Over? Did you say "over"? Nothing is over until we decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no!

Hi Richard, I sent my preferences a couple of days ago. But not heard back. Everything ok? IMC

"Apologies to Londo and Jonathan, but your choices have already gone."
I don't see Nytram's choice of Persians on the forum, I guess he must have PMed you. So I won't be getting to play with Immortals then. Bugger!
Well I'm not taking those damned Early Carthaginians, so Kyrene it is for me. I'll pick up Enakan's challenge shortly ...

I took the Persians, Londo, early on. Sorry for that. It was posted in the forum, not a PM.

Re: Chariotfest
Sorry to have missed you off Klay & Okie. Nothing personal, I do raise it on 7th April and was expecting 8 to 12 and structured it accordingly. In the event, it looks like we have 15 or so. I'd like to accommodate you (and Jackal1917) but the games have already been announced and it will be difficult to adjust without restructuring and disadvantaging others. There will be a light chariot version in due course.
