Panzer Corps: Operation Sea Lion announced!
“[However] a German invasion of England would be a matter of life and death for the British, and they would unhesitatingly commit their naval forces, to the last ship and the last man, into an all-out fight for survival” Erich Raeder, commander-in-chief of the Kriegsmarine
Great Britain, the propulsive core of the British Empire, is surrounded. After the fall of Scandinavia and France only a few miles of sea divide the land of Albion from the Reich. It’s only thanks to the Home Fleet and to the Royal Air Force that the Germans are not yet raising their flag on the Big Ben.
But for how long?
Panzer Corps: Operation Sea Lion is the latest expansion of the multi award-winning strategy title Panzer Corps, and it is focused on one of the most famous what if scenarios of the Second World War: the cancelled (but planned) German invasion of the British Isles, which was the plan to put an end to the war on the Western Front and to force the remnants of the Commonwealth forces around the World to surrender.
The campaign can be started with the core force from DLC 40, so you can begin the invasion of England with the core forces that emerged victorious in France. Alternatively players can start with a preset core force.
Scenario list
Channel Islands, Eagle Attack, Dover, Canterbury, Gravesend, Crossing the Thames, Basildon, Luton, Brighton, Newick, Guildford, Reading, Farnborough, Milton Keynes, Gibraltar, Lyme Regis, Minehead, Plymouth, Shepton Mallet, Bristol, Besieging London, Storming London, Oxford, Coventry, Irish Sea, North Sea, Hadrian's Wall, Antonine's Wall, Orkney Islands, Reykjavik.

Woohoo!
When will this pop up on Steam? I'm only just finishing East '44 so I'll have to get this once I finish the game.

Screenshots look good, I hope we get it soon! it may be too early, but Aug 13th would be appropriate, with it being the anniversary of Adlertag "Eagle Day", commencing the main phase of the Battle of Britian

Re: Panzer Corps: Operation Sea Lion announced!
Gotta say, I'm personally a little underwhelmed with this one. By all accounts **if** the Germans had actually been able to land a significant amount of forces it would have been all over-- and the Brit government new it. The Brits lost so much equipment in France they had very little left to fight with-- so it all boils down to whether or not the Royal Navy & AF can stop/decimate the landings. But it's always good to see new content for one of my all-time favorite games.
Re: Panzer Corps: Operation Sea Lion announced!
The scenario list is very intresting.
Re: Panzer Corps: Operation Sea Lion announced!
I can see my house!
That's Brighton on the right hand side, right? Shoreham in the centre on the Adur river? And Worthing and then (?) Littlehampton?
PS - a battle at Milton Keynes? Didn't it barely exist pre-war? I mean, it was just a village before the war and only became a city because of post-war construction. One of my least favourite towns in the world.

Re: Panzer Corps: Operation Sea Lion announced!
Then my house is the one to the left of the "13" of the southern-most German artillery gun!
Pointers that you would be completely correct to ignore if it helped game-play to do so:
1. Did Worthing have a railway line running directly north from it in WW2? Nowadays the only north-bound railway line before Brighton is the one that runs north up the Arun river valley from the Littlehampton area.
2. Shoreham had a military airbase (nowadays the airport that they're trying to rebrand as "Brighton City Airport"). It would be to the south-west of the hex in which Shoreham is situated.
3. The coast road crosses the river Arun to the north of Littlehampton, where Arundel castle over-looks the Arun - is the pill-box to the North-West of Littlehampton meant to represent Arundel Castle?

Any release date yet?
Re: Panzer Corps: Operation Sea Lion announced!
Hello,
I stopped few weeks (months?) ago playing the GC, being stuck in 43 west. Prestige is going down while difficulty is going up.
Then I made some researches and found, in particular, the following post talking about issue with prestige calculation introduced with the soft cap rule:
viewtopic.php?f=121&t=51105#p481147
The question is:
will you take the opportunity of this DLC to re-asses soft cap calculation/rule and ensure the GC feasibility on the long run under those rules ?
Imarion

1. Find gamerules.pzdat in your Panzer Corps/Data folderImarion wrote:Hello,

2. Open the file, find "UseSoftCap" and change its value to "0"
or
3. Edit the Soft Cap rules to your liking.
4. Profit!!!
(Unless you're playing the iPad version....)
PS. My first post, yay!
