Thanks for the patch.... and also thanks for considering some player feedback ... :D

The Shroud is done well; (I was concerned it would be too dark but it's very subtle).

I really like the mine sweeping grid and the generated names for units and villages. (First custom name; Firebase Kate... it sounds familiar but I have to read up on historic base names!).

I haven't tried the custom game yet but there are 'plenty' of options. 8)

Thanks Again! Very Nice Work!

Thank you for the work glad to get back into this sim
I stand corrected
Vietnam 65 said ""V65 is not a traditional historical sim, it can be best described as an abstract short form wargame"
Lots of enjoyment here..Looking forward to any sequels

It is amazing !

Congratulations to the dev team !

I'm on the war path again. After 50+ games with the first release, it is quite a new experience.
Th einterface amelioration are very fine
And the difficulty level is an exiting plus. (but i think that the 435 lvl for the first time is a bit to much ;) )

Hi - after playing a full game with the patch, I just wanted to stop by and tell you how impressed I am!

This game has already been one of my biggest (positive) gaming surprises lately (I own it on PC & iPad) and I really enjoyed it very much before the patch. The patch itself is really improving an already great game and I'm especially extremely impressed how well all the new (large and small) changes have been implemented. It would have been easy to add a couple of requests (like the hex grid or the weather) in a very simple way but you can see and feel how much passion went into this. The new little animations (like the artillery animation or the dispersing VCs) is really good and the rain effect looks fantastic and significantly changes the whole feel and mood of the game. The animated mine sweeping, ambush and change of HM in the villages is really good.

Thanks for making this gem, I really enjoy it!

OUTSTANDING!!!

Thanks for the patch.

Tighter. Feels like a Sid Meier job. I'm old so I intimately know Sid's early style. Very well made.

LOOKING FORWARD to your future works!

Not sure I'll follow. It has nothing to do with you, but with Slitherine love for Steam (cool prices only for Gabbe fans).
It's sad all these stores going to Steam: Paradox, HumbleBundle, Slitherine, and many others I don't want to remember.
What treasons fore the pc lovers, who don't want the pc to become a console (no need of steam, ubi, and others overlay console).

Hey, I've had a ton of fun with this update! It's great how active the devs are with the community. I also have a couple of questions.

First, in regard to the new game set in Afghanistan: Will this be an expansion of Vietnam '65 or a stand alone title? Also, will it be set in a specific region (Kunar, Helmand, or as you mentioned earlier; Kandahar.) or will we face several different types of regions/terrain? Probably a bit early for these questions, but I can't help but be curious.

Second: Will the Napalm update be the last major update for Vietnam '65?

Anyways, thanks again for a great game!
