What about the jungle border hexes? We know about the terrain through the combat modifiers??Daniele wrote: New features:

When the fire is burning, Intel is available to infantry. At present if a infantry unit was in a village at the start of of new turn and the fire come alight, the intel was not gathered, fixed in update. Remember, if fire is burning it means the intel conversation did not take place.

Re: Vietnam '65 Major Update is Coming
Hi
this is my first post concerning this game.
I had pleasure with it as it is the first tactic game i play where there is no front line and the ennemy is everywhere.
That's really fun to play.
However, i just have a bad word to say about it: the game is too easy.
After a couple of defeat at the beginning, i think i have understood how to proceed to win nearly each time.
Reco (so GB and visit of villages) is the clue and quick ability to hit is the other one's (Apache, art).
(After some medals, i have a air raid each turn now!! That's too much, imho).
I can not post screen (i think i don't have enough post on this forum) but in the last 7 games i played, i never had a score below 63 and my best is 82.
So the game became a bit boring for me now and i am sad because i like it.
So, i hope you will enhance the difficulty, i want a hard fight against horde of ennemies and some defeats (sometimes ).
I am sure i am not the only one in this case.
Thanks in advance.
PS: sorry for bad English!

Re: Vietnam '65 Major Update is Coming
In the update we have included a custom game option wherein you can ratchet up the enemy difficulty to 'elite' , crank up the weather to 'typhoon' and increase jungle density and you will be lucky to win
Re: Vietnam '65 Major Update is Coming
Suggestion for a future expansion: Mekong Delta. Similar game but with swamp/river/rice padi terrain.

Re: Vietnam '65 Major Update is Coming
Hello. Will this update apply to IPad users as well? Is there any chance of having more units added in the future? Maybe machine gun squads and mortar teams and flamethrowers? Or even Huey's with rocket pods and machine guns to cover infantry when landing in a hot LZ. I am enjoying the game very much. The idea of medavac choppers are really cool too. I especially like how the awards and medals are part of your players uniform. I've never seen that done before and found it to be extremely rewarding. Thank you for taking a chance on something different.

In the upcoming free update we are enhancing the game substantially with new features incl weather, hex grids, unit naming etc.
We are currently also planning V'66 which will be an expansion pack which will include a full campaign and new units, incl inner Alia , Skyraiders, PBR, South Vietnamese militia, Marines, mortars etc etc

Yes it does look good.... Village and Unit names are awesome and I like the mine sweeping highlight very much. (I never understood what was covered during the sweep.)
