Pretty even at the moment, my legionaries are really suffering at the sharp end of the pikes though

I try and get a screen shot next move.

Battle Result

Turk1964(Macedonians)79/81 def Iandavidsmith(Romans) 88/87

Well what a battle!!!! It was even throughout but the Macedonian Pike men were the difference. They dealt with the Armoured Romans but at a great cost and in the end less than a Dozen Pike battle groups survived and half were disrupted. Ian played one of the best games I've had in a long time and was only just pipped at the post. Macedonia salutes a brave opponent and has nothing but respect for the Romans who died in the Battle of the Great Plain. Thanks Ian for a magnificent game :)

Heavy snows isolate Pontus!

All communication lost with Pontus from Monday August 12th thru Sunday 18th.
(We are driving cross-country and are moving to California).

What? Over? Did you say "over"? Nothing is over until we decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no!

HI Danny,

That's what laptops and Starbuck's wifi are for! Where's your sense of dedication ;-).

Have a good drive and hope you and your family and all your stuff arrives safely.

Hi guys,
The reason my wife was in hospital was to give birth to our first child. Things didn't go according to plan and the little mite ended up in neonatal intensive care. Thankfully she is fine now, and I have her and my wife home safe. At the moment even simple things seem really difficult - so I am suspending the campaign until start of October, when I can see if there is enough time to take it up again. Unless someone else wants to run it? All it takes is updating the map, posting battle list and results and random events (and stirring a bit). So - if someone else can run it, please post. If not - please wait patiently.

Apologies.

Hi Jonah ,

hope all is going well with your newborn child and family.
Just wondering if you intend to continue this campaign at the
beginning of October as your last post.It is great campaign and
i would love to continue it.

That being said , i don't think anyone would think less of you if you
can't and need to devote more time to your new family.

All the best whatever way you decide,

Cheers
Ian
