I've ammended rules a bit - hopefully clears that up. I've added an optional section for diplomacy. which would take place in the orders phase - what do you think. I've ammended list to include Morbio.

I've edited this to swap Morbio and Tophat around to suit both players:

Rome: Aristades
Macedonia: Tiavals
Selucids: Turk1964
Ptolemaics: Tophat
Cathage: Morbio

I think there is a typographical error in the list of provinces...

It states: 30 – province – Lusitanians

Methinks it should be: 38 – province – Lusitanians

Also, is province 63 Ptolemaic or neutral?

Romans: Mid Republican Rome (early) for first 10 turns, then mid republican Rome (later)
Ptol. Egypt: Ptolemaic Successor for first 4 turns then Later Ptolemaic (Greek). Later Ptolemaic (Roman) available after a Later Ptolemaic (Greek) has fought Romans.
Selucids:Selucids Successor for first 4 turns, then LaterSelucids (pre 166BC)
Macedonians: Macedonian Successor for first four turns, then Later Macedonian
Cathage: Later Cathaginian (post-235), except in Italy where Later Cathagian (in Italy) is used and in Africa where later Cathaginian (in Africa) is used.

Can you add this to the rules post? Makes it easier to read if it is all in one place

Also, a clarification of the Carthage armies....
- Is 'In Italy' provinces 44 - 49 or does that include 50 and 51 which I believe are classed as Italy in the modern world?
- Is 'In Africa' any province in Africa as we know it today... and does this include province 20, which is in both Africa and Asia?

Finally, clarification of land attacks vs sea attacks.... Are any or all of the following classed as land attacks due to the short distance of sea?
- 33 to 34
- 48 to 50
- 9 to 63
- 11 to 63
- Any other?

We wait on Rome. Morbio - I emailed you a query on your orders - but will accept them unchanged unless I hear from you. I'll give Aristades till the end of the day. In future, could players specify the (defensive) location of their war leader if not leading an attack?
