SP's Late Medieval tournament is now open . . .

Using the old version of FOG, you will need to have the "Storm of Arrows" expansion pack to enter. Armies will be at 400pts. "Fog of war" and "Double moves" will be compulsory. Players will be divided into 4 groups of players and each player will have three group matches. The winner and runner-up of each group will qualify for the knock-out stage, which will consist of quarter-finals, semi-finals and final.

For the three group stage matches players will be allocated an army from the following historical match-ups
Match 1 War of the Roses Lancastrian versus War of the Roses Yorkists
Match 2 Early French Ordonnance versus Burgundian Ordonnance
Match 3 Later Medieval Danish v Later Medieval Swedish

The Quarter-finals will feature Low Countries (Maximilian) versus Later Medieval Germans (max 6 Swiss allies allowed)
The Semi-finals will feature Later Hundred Years War (Continental) English v Later Medieval French
The Final will feature Later Anglo-Irish v Later Medieval Irish

Qualifying groups. Everyone plays everyone else in their group so that is 3 matches each. 4 points are awarded for a win, 2 points are awarded for a draw - and one extra bonus point is awarded if the winning player loses less than 10 points in a match (e.g. 9/32 v 28/28).
