The Byzantine World Part 1: 4th Century
Hello guys. I have decided to create a serie of Leagues based on the Byzantine History. My longtime plan is in the end to have one for each century of Byzantium. Ofcourse the armies will be from nations which Byzantines fought with. For the first one, i am keen to try a small league with 8 nations. Those are:
1.Byzantium= Dominate Roman (Eastern early), 284 to 379 Ad
2.Sassanid Persia (early)
3. Early Frankish
4.Early Alamanni
5. Early Scots-Irish
6.Goths (Early Visigothic)
7.Early Alan
8. Later Sarmatian.
If you are interested to participate, send a message with the army you want to have (i will take the last one remained). So i need 7 players. Each player will play 2 matches with any other player one with his nation and one with nation of the other player. Ok because my english are bad i will give an example.
match 1= Player A (Byzantines) vs Player B (Persians)
match 2= Player A (Persians) vs Player B (Byzantines). Every win will give 3 points and every draw 1 point. For each round the player will have 2 weeks time to complete and the armies will consisted of 350 points. That's all
Players=
Mike = Byzantium
Kilroy= Sassanid Persia
Allendeuce= Later Sarmatians
Jonathan= Early Alamani
Mike (Cunningcairn)= Goths
Okie=Early Alan
batesmotel= Early Frankish
NikiforosFokas= Early Scots-Irish

Sounds like a great idea, Kostas.
I would be honoured to fight for the defence of Byzantium.
Best Wishes

Kostas, I would love to lead the Sarmatians to glory, if allowed.

I'm looking forward to seeing the Franks over run the Western empire and possibly a visit to Rome.

Re: The Byzantine World Part 1: 4th Century
Welcome to everyone
So we are ready to begin . We can starting post the challenges here (and also PM). You can go, if you want, for douples (reversed) match in the same time, so we can go faster. But that it is totally up to you. Also the winners please post also the results without to omit mention the % ( the percentages will be usefull in cases of a draw between two players in the league table).
Thanks everyone for joining
