Lombards led their army with a line of Italian Militia (poor defensive spearmen), who immediately decided, on contact with the Goth HF, that it would be much nicer to be back on the farm drinking vino and eating olives. But Mcfcivo got his revenge in the reverse game ...

I thought I was being clever by taking both Suebi and Saxon allies for the Lombards, to give me two large blocks of impact HF, thereby avoiding reliance on the Italian militia. But the Visigoth cavalry merrily carved up and feasted upon the Suebi, and the Saxons didn't fare much better. Well played!
