Sorry Jonathan, I do mean Grudgebringer's Bulgarians.
I think the Hungarians were just sitting on the sidelines laughing at the mess we were making
Best Wishes

Ha, no worries, just wanted to make sure Grudge wasn't using wrong army. It happens to best of us, and worst of us.MikeMarchant wrote:Sorry Jonathan, I do mean Grudgebringer's Bulgarians.

Group A:
zumHeuriger (Catalan(L)) 30/42
allendeuce (Wallachian) 35/35
The other leg is also just finished:
allendeuce (Catalan(L)) 27/35
zumHeuriger (Wallachian) 47/46
Both were close until the last turn or so.
Cheers
Tom
Status: One of my matches with Londo is well underway: The other one is still in probe phase (0/0 vs 0/0). My two matches with Cunningcairn are started but still on turn 1. Now we await the singularity.

MikeMarchant's Byzantines (48/49) somehow managed to beat PeterGuest's Lithuanians (45/36).
No, don't ask me how.

Re: Eternal Empire tournament - main thread/post your result
I don't know how other people feel, but I do have a slight concern we might still be here in a couple of months waiting for the new release with the tournament stalled. After all the new round of the league was postponed for fear the new version was about to be released imminently, and that was some months ago now.
This isn't a complaint, just a concern that we could be waiting for some time yet, and maybe we might be better off taking the risk and gettiing on with the torunament.
How do other people feel about this?
Best Wishes
Mike

I'd rather we ploughed on with the current set. new release indications have been about as reliable as general election polls, I'm here to play, not to wait for FoG to get their release dates sorted.

Since it's not the first time the release is at hand, I'm not expecting anything soon. But if it does come soon it's a bonus.

I agree...I have played one game, had a blast and got skewered by Mike.
I have issued challenges and because of the new addition, no one has answered. I NEED A BUTT KICKEN Lets proceed

I tend to agree with you guys about ploughing through but I think we can atleast wait until next week to see if it's actually coming out, and then go from there

This is how we stand as of right now. Finish any games in progress as soon as possible. Hopefully, by next Wednesday we can either continue on in FOG 1.0 or in the new FOG 2.0.

Jonathan, I'm 4-1-1 having lost a while back to PeterGuest in our frst battle. I have just taken a look and it doesn't appear as though Peter posted the result at the time. So Peter presumably has an extra victory to be added to his tally, and I have a loss to be added to mine.
Best Wishes

Great, thanks for correcting this. Voskarp and PeterGuest should each have an extra loss as well from looking over my table again.MikeMarchant wrote:Jonathan, I'm 4-1-1 having lost a while back to PeterGuest in our frst battle. I'm also impatient to play more games! Why don't we proceed on a "take your chances" basis regarding FOG 2? If a game is still underway when the upgrade appears, and games get scrubbed from the server, then those who are playing simply start over, regardless of where the game is at. Bad luck to those who are ahead in their games, but I don't think people will be upset if they know in advance that this may happen - and any irritation will surely be vastly overweighed by the great joy of having FOG 2 finally!
