FOG will not run on iMac

installed it on my iMac 27" with 16 gigs of ram, when opened it goes to the screen with the three companies logos and some music in the background. That's it, it goes no farther no matter what i do. Have reinstalled it three times with the same results.

Any ideas?

I have exactly the same problem on my macbook air OS X v. 10.9.5 , processor: 1.4 Ghz Intel Core i5, memory: 4 GB 1600 MHz DDR3.

I tick resolution and image quality in a window and then tick "play", after that the screen with 3 logos shows and then nothing happens.

What to do?

also the older version of FOG did not work either on my iMac

I have the older version installed with all (old) DLCs on my MacBook Air and it is working fine.
