Turn 64. February 12, 1943.

Normal winter in USSR this turn. Red Army heavily attacked a German corps and an Hungarian corps, former ended at very low strength and the latter was destroyed.

Portugal. This will take a while seemingly.

Western Europe. RAF very active through strategic bombing, direct attacks to Luftwaffe air bases and even strikes over German naval surface units in French ports.

Turn 65. March 4, 1943.

Eastern front. There is now some give and take here since Axis killed a Soviet unit this turn. Red Army destroyed 1 more Axis unit, this making the 10th destroyed in this Winter offensive.

Turn 68. May 3, 1943.

Eastern front. The Axis started a limited offensive in Belarus this turn. 2 USSR units (a corps and a partisan) were killed. Intense air combats in which a Soviet fighter was destroyed. Soviets made no attacks at all.

Sicily and Italy. RN made some spotting movements along southern France coast and Corsica: defending units are mostly garrisons. Another Italian BB was sunk.

Western Europe. Strategic campaign continues with 2 Luftwaffe fighters opposing. RAF fighters now taking high losses due to highter tech on the Germans.

Turn 69. May 23, 1943.

Eastern front. Axis stopped attacks in Belarus and kind of retreated to Minsk. Combats in Pripet continued and a Soviet corps was destroyed as well as the partisan unit around there. In Soviet turn, Red army occupied hexes left by Axis forces in Belarus.

Portugal. More units landed and more are to land. DeGaulle armoured is already in Lisbon port. Furthermore, 2 US corps that have landed in Agadir are already in Marrakech.

Western Europe. Allied strats once reduced many german cities and resources to 0-1 PP's started to bomb resources in France. Lorraine was reduced to 2 PP's and Paris was halved in PP's:

Eastern front. Axis forces continued with their limited attacks this turn, killing a Soviet corps and a garrison. Luftwaffe widely supported the attacks.

Iberian peninsula. More preparations for the invasion of Spain.

Western Europe. Strategic campaign intensity on its peaking.

Turn 71. July 2, 1943.

Eastern front. VVS made a spotted strong Wehrmacht forces in Belarus. An offensive is likely to occur on the next turns.

Iberian peninsula. Invasion of Spain is ready. British paratroopers already available for being dropped. Fast advance to Madrid will be key.

Turn 72. July 22, 1943.

Eastern front. Axis started an offensive in Belarus as expected, destroying a Soviet corps and battering a mech. Wide air support for the operation. Air combats showed the higher tech of the Geman fighters. Shots below are at the end of Allies turn:

Spain. Successful British landing in Barcelona taking the city. In central Spain, a fast advance of mobile units reached Madrid that can be already attacked on the next turn. In the south, British attack launched from Gibraltar took Seville.

Western Europe. Strategic bombers saw no German fighter opposition this time surely because of the many fronts in which Luftwaffe is now engaged

Turn 73. August 11, 1943.

Eastern front. Axis did not go further on its offensive. Some units even retreated. Soviets did attack this time and killed 2 German units, Model's paratrooper unit one of them.

Spain. Axis railed a number of units to this scenario, mostly garrisons, but also Norwegian SS unit. In Allies turn, Americans took easily Valladolid advancing to Duero river. Main attack was in Madrid were the defending Spanish unit was left badly damaged. Spanish army mech was killed. Landings in Valencia and Cartagena occurred. In the south, Cordoba was taken:

Western Europe. British bombers found no German fighters opposition again.

Turn 74. August 31, 1943.

USSR. Axis started a withdrawal from Belarus. No retreats in Ukraine. No attacks from Soviets.

Spain Axis turn. Axis counterattack in Barcelona beachhead killed O'Connors mech. Probably Allied unit was finished by Norwegian SS unit coming from Zaragoza. Luftwaffe has deployed for the defense of Spain, a couple of fighters near Zaragoza:

Turn 75. September 20, 1943.

Axis started a general retreat in USSR leaving only units in Tallin, Riga, Kiev and Cherkassy. Red army occupied abandoned Tartu, Minsk and Dnepropetrovsk.

Spain. Axis forces coming from southern France as reinforcements are rather strong and numerous. Amongst them, a panzerkorps, a mech and a paratrooper.

Sicily. Preparations for Allied invasion started.

Turn 76. October 10, 1943.

Fair weather this turn in Eastern front. Axis units continued to retreat west. Niemen river appears to be as likely the defensive line chosen in the north and Southern Bug river as the defensive line in the south. Shots with Axis moves:

In Soviet turn, Riga was liberated and Tallin was surrounded. In the south, Kiev, Cherkassy and Krivoj Rog were taken too.

Spain Axis turn. Mud weather in Central Europe. Some Axis attacks but nothing to worry. In Allies turn, forces coming from the different landing spots started to link. A Bulgarian corps was destroyed near Valencia.

Turn 77. October 30, 1943.

USSR. Winter weather. Little happening there now. More abandoned ground regained by the Soviets.

Spain Axis turn. Fair weather in Central Europe and the Axis has completed its deployement for Spain:

Allied turn. Allies made a tiny approach to Zaragoza and Ebro river line. Intense air combats with Luftwaffe.

Sicily. British mech, Canadian corps and an Australian corps will be first wave of landings in the island. Many air and naval bombings of Axis units in the island

Turn 78. November 19, 1943.

USSR. More Soviet approachs and some attacks.

In Spain, Allies make good progress. 2 Italian corps were destroyed and Zaragoza, defended by German paratroopers, was taken. Luftwaffe fighters in Spain withdrew.

Italy-Sicily. Landings started, units seeking to consolidate the beachheads for now.

Turn 79. December 9, 1943.

Eastern front. No Axis moves to mention. Soviet army started its first attacks to Axis positions along Niemen river: 3 German corps were attacked. Many air combats again. In the south, a bridgehead in Southern Bug river was formed after a German corps was killed.

Spain Axis turn. Axis abandoned Ebro river line and retreated to the mountains:

Spain Allies turn. Allies are doing well here. Hungarian and Romanian corps units south of Bilbao were destroyed after an Allied attack with extensive air support from tacs.

Sicily Axis turn. Regia Marina subs reappeared torpedoing British BB's. Italian army mounted a counterattack in Sicily targeting Australian corps which was halved in strength. Attack was costly to Italians though:

Turn 80. December 29, 1943.

Eastern front. Axis made mostly repairs in the northern sector and was more offensive in the south where 2 Soviet corps were killed. In Soviet turn, Kaunas was heavily attacked but the german corps there held. South of Kaunas, 2 German inf corps were killed. In the south, Vinnitsa was liberated. Hungarian units suffered dearly this turn and couple of them barely survived:

Spain Axis turn. Luftwaffe reappeared supporting a strong Axis attack on Free French armoured that ended nearly destroyed:

Spain Allies turn. German corps NW of Zaragoza was killed. Free French armoured was withdrawn and hopefully next turn won't be spotted. Spanish partisan in northern mountains was killed:

Turn 81. January 18, 1944.

USSR Axis turn. Axis counterattack south of Kaunas killed 2 Soviet armoured units. One Luftwaffe tac participated in the attacks. In the south, Wehrmacht closed the gap formed on last turn west of Vinnitsa by killing a Soviet corps:

Soviet turn. Severe winter hit at the end of Axis turn although only Axis units in the south will be affected by that. Soviet reply to Axis counterattack in Eastern Poland was to kill 1 German mech and 1 corps and to severely damage a panzerkorps. Axis fighter opposition in Eastern front is high with at least 7 fighter units deployed there. Soviets have 9 fighter units and they are about to deploy their 10th unit. In the South, no Axis units destroyed but several took high losses. Soviet strat started bombing Ploesti Axis resource:

Spain. Nothing to mention on Axis turn but a Romanian corps attack to British corps near Bilbao. In Allies turn, referred Romanian corps was heavily attacked but the unit held the position.

Sicily Axis turn. Italians attacked again Australian corps halving Allied unit:

Turn 82. February 7, 1944.

Eastern front. Axis kept on with its counterattacks in Eastern Poland. A Soviet Guards inf corps was killed by the attack of 2 SS corps units. No air support for this attack:

Soviet turn. Red army kept on with its attacks to Kaunas, damaging 2 German corps. In the south, Soviets finally succeeded in forming a second bridgehead on Southern Bug river. Strong Axis fighter opposition in both northern and southern sectors, Romanian fighter taking heavy losses. Ploesti resource reduced to 1 PP's.

Turn 83. February 27, 1944.

Eastern front. No counterattacks from Axis this turn. Instead, units started to moved west in northern sector whilst they seem to hold in the south:

Soviet turn. Red army killed Hungarian corps. Furthermore, 2 German inf corps south of Kaunas were damaged, one of them badly. Tallin was liberated.

Spain. In Axis turn, 2 more Spanish partisans spawned, one of them was directly killed by air strikes in Allies turn. Attacks to Bilbao started.

Sicily Axis turn. Italian subs reappeared torpedoing a british carrier and a BB. Italians seem to be bringing reinforcements:

Sicily allied turn. Allies bombed German mech in Palermo again. Italian unit (Badoglio HQ mech) in central Sicily ended heavily damaged after the attack of 3 Allied units. Some naval action (a third Italian sub was shown by British DD):
