A good AAR, thanks. I've enjoyed following it and I've learned a lot. The thought about Axis fighters (lots of them, with focus on fighter tech) gives me something to consider in future games. Usually, as the Axis I've emphasized tac bomber technology in the early years (1939-41), and I think I've tended to overbuild tacs as well. Yes, it's fun to have lots of tactical bombers during the 1941 Barbarossa, but by 1942 too many of them sit idle because there are not enough fighters to escort them, and they're expensive to repair when they are used.
