Hi -
I've just checked the sort in BG March order and it worked OK for me. I only highlighed Columns A to K. The spreadsheet moves around correctly the base points and BG totals.
When I tried highlighing past column K it didn't work as those are protected cells.
A great resource which does all I need and use every time.
Thanks for all the hard work.

I still can't get it to work, and when I tried to print it anyway it came out as a small, unreadable box in the middle of the page. I know it must be me, but everything that is described above I can do easily on the FoG:AM one by Olivier, but not with this one (actually, either of the two R ones).

Two Problems I experienced this morning:
1. Commanded Shot come out at one point less than they should
2. Artillery completely mess up the calculation column, giving a N/A result
Since neither has been complained of by others I'm thinking it might be because I'm using Excel 1997-2003. Will try again on a 2007 machine and let you know.
Regards,
Dave Allen

Found a small error in versions 2.7 and 2.8.
Cell P2 where it is summing the BG Points Values, is selecting N10 to N45 but N46 is not included. Understand why but in that case A46-K46 should be protected as otherwise it does not make clear that they are not included. When used in anger I can't see that being a problem but I was playing around with some of the C&C Indians and needed to save a row somewhere but it did not add up correctly.

I seem to be having an issue with the costs of pike and shot regiments coming out right. In the books, the MF Musket troops are 8 points, but the sheet always comes out to 7. I was looking at a Later Thirty Years German list from Wars of Religion. I have tried listing the MF musket troops first and second. I made sure the BG is numbered. It seems that the 1 point for shot being in a BG with pike is not being added. Of course, just calling the Infantry Regiment a "Swedish Brigade" adds the points to make the costs correct.
Am I the only one?

Just had the same problem but simply solved. Just make sure both lines representing your BG have the same number in the BG# column.I have tried listing the MF musket troops first and second. Version 2.9 now published
Hello all.
Been snowed under with work and houshold projects over the summer but have finally got round to upgrading the the FoG-R list generator.
Line 46 is now added correctly (Bring on the Indians!)
Allies can now be listed and I have added some instructional comments which might help.
The Impact + Bayonet is a bit more involved and will have to wait for the next version. _ If I am wrong in my belief this does not affect the points values then let me know and I will move it up the priority list.
Not sure about the Superior Pike + shot. It seems to work for me. - Has anyone else had this problem?

Pike + Shot points
Thanks I will have a look at the example.
On a general point;
All multi row Battle Groups will only calculate additional points if rows are marked as the same number in the BG# column.
Shot Points will be correct when entering pike first because Excel sees the Blank BG# cells as being the same number (0).

Thanks for the offer.
I have been looking at this, but the need to squeeze so many lines on a page leaves precious little space for decoration.
I am working on a version that allows multiple page printing but maitains continuity with the army details - otherwise it could become a list checkers nightmare!
