I sent Terry a pm about 2 weeks ago.........no response.
I posted on the FOGAM V.3 thread about a week ago.......deafening silence.
Unfortunately I do not have any other means of communicating with him, so if anyone else has a personal email address maybe they could try.

I have to say, I'm a bit frustrated - not to mention disappointed.

It seems obvious the authors have walked away from FoGN. It would have been nice had they come on here and said, "Hey, it's been great, but it's time to move on to other things and we won't be checking in or posting here anymore." I know we are a very tiny group but we have been dedicated to this game.

Hi Blathergut

I cannot currently provide details, but I can confirm that FoGN development work is underway.

Very reassuring in one sense. Sounds like you are in the thick of it. Which is also good.

Wait and see

But the waiting is beginning to be very long as we have no clue to what is happening

There are Non Disclosure Agreement considerations that prevent me from saying much, other than to mention that a small team is now actively working on a version 2.

Hi Bahdahbum

Working on a target-progress timetable now, my personal goal would be have development completed and the finished product in the hands of publishers by the end of this year. But plenty to do (some of which will be outside of our control) and a first quarter 2017 release is probably unrealistic. Better to get it right than get it fast.

If timeframes are looking likely to stretch out to any great extent, Terry is willing to release some bridging amendments to the current version (say a version 1.5) that can be incorporated into the existing rules as an interim measure.

But we'll do our best to keep you all informed as to progress.

Cheers
Brett

Thanks everyone for waiting so patiently. FOG Napoleonic Second Edition is finally available to purchase on Amazon! Below is the link to the Amazon.com page (which is where Australian customers need to order from). But it is also available on Amazon UK, Italy, France, Germany, Spain and Japan.

Are there new army lists to go with the 2nd Edition? I had my eye on these rules but that was about the time there was talk of a 2nd Ed, so I demurred. I might take the plunge this time though...

Is there a printable QRS available for version 2? I have signed up for the Facebook page but have yet to be excepted.
