CNAW - game not working

Post by TonyM »

I downloaded CNAW and appear to have similar problems to that already posted to the forum.

I already had CEAW in the same folder and that still works.

I tried the dos solution and that does not appear to have had any effect.

My system is Windows XP Home version 2002 SP3 on an Advent T9201 Intel (R) Pentium (R) 4 CPU 3.40 GHz with 2.00Gb Ram

Canb you help please

Can you elborate more on the "similar problem" and give out more details on what happened when you were trying to run the game?
You bought from Matrixgames or Slitherine?

Sorry my similar pronlem was the quick flash of the dos screen at start up that then led me to try the forum fix of replacing the java script at the dos prompt.

It now reads - in case my change was wrong -

"C:\Program Files\Slitherine\Commander - Napoleon at War\jre\bin\java.exe" -Xms256m -Xmx512m CNAW

I purchased the download from Slitherine.

Thanks for any future advice.

Tried to reload CNAW...have the same line for startup...get dos message...apparently about Java incompatibility...

Won't start...is there a way to get it to work on Windows 10?

Thanks....
