Dell Latitude 2100
Intel Atom N270 1.6 GHz
2 GB RAM
1024x600 (32 bit) 60Hz
Windows Vista Business
Intel 945 Express Chipset Family
I pasted the d3drm dll to the spartan.exe directory and to windows\system 32 directory and installed DX 9.0c.
I am running spartan.exe as administrator and in windows xp sp2 compatibility.
I deleted the movies subdirectory.
I STILL cannot get past the "0-50-100" "Loading/Laden" loading graphic.
Some useful assistance here would be appreciated.
Thanks!

I'm sorry to hear about your issue with the game
Where are you installing the game? Which folder?

Do you receive any error message?

No, no message. It just hangs with the loading graphic. I wait about 10 mins after the disc reader stops accessing (5 sec of accessing), then I shut it down manually w/ task manager.

What do you mean with the disc reader? CD drive? Hardisk?

What happens if you edit/create a user.txt file in your installation folder's DATA folder, and add the line:
FULLSCREEN 0
This should run the game in a window and may allow you to see any error message more easily.
Cheers
