They have been pronouncing it Beeta, but should be pronounced Bayta like the greek letter meaning it is the 2ndary item and not the alpha model, make sense?

Actually the Greek pronounciation of beta is short without elongation like the e in "bell".

I say it both ways, I don't think it makes a difference how it's pronounced.

But if you dare to say 'GIF' as 'JIF' and not 'GIF' so help me I will....

That's actually not the release date.

To be honest we don't have an exact release date yet, and it mainly depends on how the beta goes.

The new site is also currently in beta (lots of betas recently), and we have no way to put a product page out without a release date. It's on the to-fix list though.

We are sending out invitations to the beta in batches. If you don't get contacted immediately, don't despair. We will invite many testers to it, jt just might take a bit of time (can't give you a precise ETA for it either, sorry).
