30 people already signed up for The BHGS Challenge @ UKGE this coming June - we had just over 100 in total last year, so the fact the Challenge this year is also hosting the "International Challenge" events for DBMM, ADLG, FoG and MeG has clearly already generated a lot of additional interest ! http://www.ukgamesexpo.co.uk/bookevents.php?subcat=bhg

It might be worth re-iterating that the date has now passed for any of the New Book 2 armies to be selected - unless it has been published and I've missed it?

I've been told that Book 2 will be available for Salute !! - which is only 2 weeks before the Challenge.

Thanks for letting us know Terry. Looks like we made the right call on the lists then. Salute will be too late for the Challenge.

Seems a shame not to use them for the sake of a few days? I'll take a straw poll of those who have already entered the Challenge at Roll Call this weekend.

I for one would be delighted to see this event won by a non-British player as it should mean that our European neighbours have joined us in embracing V3.

Very encouraging to see Prince Fafa's positive support on the French Forum.

As the new Book 2 was published shortly after our original deadline we have agreed to change the permitted lists as follows:

15mm Ancients & Medieval: 850 points, any army from the newly published Book 1 and Book 2 Army Lists. Any army from the original army list books (but using V3 points). Original lists cannot be used where the same list now appears in the new Book 1.

Please ensure you make it clear to Andy Ellis, the list checker, which book your list is from.

Tim - could you amend the BHGS website as well please?
