Certain old lists contain troops who are listed as heavy weapon but from description are clearly Polearm(some are described as such). Examples include
French ordinance polearms men, numerous billmen, halberdiers and naginata. Must these all be fielded as hvy wpn or is it permissible to use them as pole arm?

I think this was covered in a separate thread (http://www.slitherine.com/forum/viewtop ... 55&t=84856) where it was indicated that if the old books are being used then troops should be equipped as written i.e. no reclassing as polearm.

OK, although it seems unnecessarily harsh on the French.

Folks

The UKGE team are looking to tighten up their planned table allocations fairly soon, so if you are planning on attending the Challenge but are yet to book it would be really helpful to the organising team sign up and confirm your place over the next few days

Currently we have 15 players signed up for FoGv3 at this years event

Looks like we have quite a few regulars missing? I believe Dave Ruddock and David Bannister are away on a romantic holiday but what news of Graham Briggs / Phil Powell / Martyn Simpson?

I guess this weekend at Campaign is a good opportunity to ask?
