*Total Noob* Figures per base?

Hey guys, totally new to the site and the game. The only table top gaming Ive played at all has been Chain of Command 15mm with friends. But my interest and passion are in Ancient/Classical Times, so Im going to be painting up and playing FoG. Ive got quite a few 15mm Greek and Hellenistic figures, as well as the FoG rulebook(First Edition). Because I am so new to this I could be missing it, but is there a place in the book, or a website that tells you how many figures to put on a single base to be part of a BG? I dont want to show up and have 8 Hoplites on a base if it should be 4, 6 Thracians if its supposed to be 5 etc...

Sorry for the total ignorance, but any help would be very appreciated.
