I'm comparing Empires vs Imperator, and Imperator doesn't attract to me. Perhaps I'm wrong, but Empires has something that can make it the reference of the genre. Time will tell.

I just received a marketing email announcing the 30% off sale and soliciting additional beta testers. I've been signed up since November and haven't been contacted yet, but hopefully the recent solicitation means they are preparing to open it up to a far larger audience. Fingers crossed.

Otherwise happy to wait, seems I'm always waiting for some game, oh and Imperator rome is a bomb, so disappointing.....but it does have a "Gender equality mode"

I signed up in November as well and gave heard nothing. Would love to put my professional system test experience to work on this effort.

We haven't notified those who have not been selected simply because we might still add additional testers. With the game getting close to the finish line, we have stopped taking new beta applicants, but we might still decide we want some fresh pairs of eyes.
