[Bug] AI teams sometimes don't work

I thought that this issue was limited to multiplayer but I had it happen in my last singleplayer game too.
I have no idea why it happens or how to even reproduce it.

What happens is that sometimes the set-up teams before the game don't work and they attack eachother, leading to a completely different game than expected.

There is a slim chance I might have forgotten to set it up properly. In order to preclude that possibility it would be really helpful if the game remembered my previous settings.

Yes, we all have a prefered setting we very often to reset each time. It would spare us many clicks before each game.
