I'm working on a new mod for the game!

I know this forum is dead as the dodo, but maybe there are some gamers about, who still like to play this game. If there is, I have been working on a mod, with the aim off improving the naval game mainly, but I have tweaked a great many other aspects as well. If you look at the stats, for the Ship of The Line, you can see that I have changed many aspects, I have increased the build time, but reduced manpower, they also now have a bombardment capability, against Fortresses, Ports & Cities. Movement has been increased, as well as Quality & Survivability.

Hi Spain is also available from the start 1805 scenario, and joins France at the battle of Trafalgar as per history ! I don't know why the game did not have this as standard when released?

PLEASE MAKE A BACKUP OFF YOUR DATA FILE IN GAME,THEN DELETE THE ORIGINAL AND REPLACE WITH THIS NEW GAME DATA FILE THANK YOU!

This link contains updated game data files as off = 21/10 2015

http://www.gamefront.com/files/25285220 ... gn+Mod.zip

New for the first time, all Artillery Units can now target & Attack Blockading Enemy Ships.I have now created a new updated download, with this addition implemented.

Maybe with a little luck, this great old game might get a lot more interest with xmas on the horizon, people will have some spare time, and maybe just maybe this game will come back fighting, because it has been on the ropes to long, believe me when I say the enhanced data file will pleasantly surprise you all, I know I'm enjoying the game. :D

I have re-started modding this superb game again, after more than 2 years working on CTGW. I think its high time, I gave this excellent game some tender loving care, something that has been sorely lacking.Well no longer,if anyone still plays this game, and would like to see what changes I have been doing to it,you can follow these enhancements here thank you!

210 years ago today.

21 October 1805
The Battle of Trafalgar (21 October 1805) was a naval engagement fought by the Royal Navy against the combined fleets of the French and Spanish Navies, during the War of the Third Coalition (August–December 1805) of the Napoleonic Wars (1803–1815). The battle was the most decisive naval victory of the war.

Commander Napoleon At War 1805 Expanded Mod 26/10/2015.

Please make a backup copy of your existing Data folder & Image Folder. When you have done that, simply add these 2 new folders, and overwrite the 2 existing folders.

I have completely revamped the 1805 scenario, lets just say there is more of everything, and leave it at that,as I don't want to spoil what is in effect a whole new 1805 Campaign challenge enjoy!

All the best,Kirk Hoggan.
