Hendricus (Romans) beats XLegione (Galatians) 52-26
After the Galatian doing an impression of a wrecking ball and in one swift move breaking the Roman centre and swiping away the medium reserve behind it the Romans held their breath but repaired the hole and did there own demolition. It was a brutal fight, that free turn the Romans can do and the Galatians not made a world of difference.

Not as close as it looks like .. and if I'd remembered about removing the head, I could have run down a fleeing Clovis.

Astonishing!
As some of you may know, youngr (Richard) has to spend part of his time working where there is no reliable internet connection. This happened during Season 3 and is about to happen again in Season 4 when he will be away for a month from tomorrow. When Richard first explained this situation to me I was a bit concerned that he might not get all the matches done and opponents would get frustrated because they would have to wait some weeks to continue their games. However, everything worked out OK in Season 3 and so I agreed to the same arrangement again for Season 4. This time, Richard has surpassed his rapid play performance of last season to finish all 9 matches in Early Middle Ages and to complete 8 out of 9 matches in Late Antiquity (the one remaining match is in its later stages).
I think this an incredible performance, particularly because he has moved up to Division B for the first time and he has so far won 14 out of the 17 matches completed. So a big "hats-off" to Richard and well done to every body else in the Late Antiquity and Early Middle Ages B Divisions for making it all possible.

devoncop (Hannibal in Africa) just beat Hendricus (Roman) 63% to 45% with 2 turns remaining.
Thanks to my opponent who fought well in unfavourable terrain for the Romans.

Must be that Hannibal again, keeping my scouts busy with some easy girls. So the army was suddenly in difficult terrain. The terrain that hinders my heavies more as his mediums. It was an enjoyable battle ( ambush ) not every general can do what Hannibal did, devoncop can.
