Division B
dkalenda (Macedonian) beats devoncop (Ptolemaic) 55-38
but I don't know if it'll count
No, this is now a void result under Rule 6 as devoncop has withdrawn from the tournament and had not completed 3 matches in this section.

Division B
harveylh (Indian 546-599AD) beat IMC (Frank 496-599AD) 48-21
Tough match for the Franks as some rough terrain constrained their warband and lancer deployment.

Division D for Determination
Barrold713 (Romans) defeats cromlechi (Persians) 48-21
This one almost looked like I had a plan that actually panned out. I managed to survive getting my force in the middle of two wings with Immortals and other bowmen hammering me from rough terrain. #bettertobeluckythangood

Division B
oscarius (Roman 105-25BC) beat GDod (Arab, City 300-633AD) 60-47.
With nightfall fast approaching (four turns to go) the Arabs reluctantly ceded the field. The harsh mountainous terrain had been both a blessing and a curse, with the Arabs unable to properly utilise their cavalry but likewise the Roman legionaries were forced into a bloody attritional struggle as heavy foot grinded away against heavy foot (GDod fortunately forgot to buy any medium foot) for hour after hour on terrain neither army was particularly suited for. A lot of auto-routs from long draws.. Thanks for the game even if it was starting to turn into a Gallipoli re-enactment.

Division B
ahuyton (Nabataeans 260-106BC) won against Markwatson360 (Jewish 167-111BC): 43-18
I confess that I offered a draw early on when it looked as if we were not going to attach each other, but my bows and a hill helped withstand (just) the zealous attacks when they came.

Division C for Curmudgeonly
Barrold713 (Byzantines) defeats Bluefin (Gepids) 64-50
Holy Roman Empire this was a close one. Even though I questioned their abilities, the infantry held just long enough to gain some grudging posthumous respect. A fun nail-biter that went back and forth until the end.

Group 4 fights for more!
Barrold713 (Gepids) defeats edb1815 (Lombards) 61-41
My flank attack managed to withstand his flank attack and many local households had horse meat aplenty afterward for dinner.

Division B
harveylh (Jewish Revolt 66-135AD) beat Hendricus (Palmyran 258-273AD) 44-19
The Palmyrans tried to shoot their way to victory and came close to success. Fortunately for the Jews a steep hill on one flank was closer to their deployment zone than the Palmyrans or it might have been a different game. Well played by Hendricus and the game was closer than the score indicated.
