Field of Glory is my favorite game. But still i am playing other games too (mostly tbs). One of them is Post Human W.A.R . I am referring to this game because has an excellent pbem system that allows live multiplayer games. Each player has a specific amount of time to complete his moves etc. If he runs out of time he loses. Considering that the game is an indie game I believe this not hard to apply on FoG. Of course I understand that this way of gaming will not have to exclude the original system but it will help the community to have some quick battles in FoG too(i miss this thing sometimes). Taking into account that a usual game is around 20 turns and if you allow each player 3-5 minutes for each turn this will give us a game under 2 hours, an amount of time that is not something unusual for an online session. Of course, once more this will have to be an option. But if the cost of creating this type of multi is small this will be a nice step to make the game more popular.

+1 for me!

Although, with some opponents, I get this in some form... the opponents move is made, the smartphone dings because and email notification is received, my move is made, and I suspect my opponent's phone dings and they move, the phone dings... rinse and repeat.
