Help needed in removing a custom campaign scenario

Hi all,

So this may be a niche request but i’m looking for help in getting rid of the battle type where you either march to face an enemy without replacing losses or fight with rear echelon forces.

I almost always use weak army lists on high difficulty against challenging foes, i.e. Achaemenids vs Romans. Often these battles are almost unwinnable to the point of not being fun, and I dislike abandoning campaigns.

I use the TT mod — is there a way to selectively remove this scenario, or at the very least decrease its likelihood?

It could be done by modding scripts, but not otherwise.

I will try and give you an answer to this tomorrow. It is past my bed-time now. Way too late to try to mod scripts.

To clarify, you are talking about TT Mod Sandbox Campaigns? So if I tell you how to Mod TT Mod Campaigns to do what you want, that will suffice?

You need to download and unzip the file and then put it in

/Documents/My Games/FieldofGlory2/CAMPAIGNS/TT_Mod_CampaignsV1.5.3/Data/Scripts

This will eliminate the following choice pairs:

1) Choice 3: An enemy allied army has attacked from an unexpected direction
----- // Fight them with your rear echelon troops
----- // If you have an ally, fight them with the ally. If not, force march your field army to fight them

2) Choice 4: The enemy have attacked from an unexpected direction
----- // Fight them with your rear echelon troops
----- // Force march your field army to fight them

3) Choice 12: Another enemy nation invaded us
----- // Fight them with your rear echelon troops
----- // Force march your field army to fight them

4) Choice 16: Revolt
----- // Fight them with your rear echelon troops
----- // Force march your field army to fight them
