PIRATES! In 5 non-ancient reports from Madaxeman.com

Post by madaxeman »

As it sadly appears that no-one has played a single interesting or otherwise noteworthy game of FoGAM since mid March, I thought I'd repost this here just to brighten up your day and because it's actually quite good IMO.

It's Here!

The Pirates in Competitive Action!

In one of the most extensively trailed competition writeups ever seen anywhere on the whole internet, the Buccaneer Army takes to the field at Campaign in Milton Keynes (well, where else would you expect to find Pirates eh?) for 5 games of cutlass-swinging, eyepatch-wearing, blunderbuss-shootin' Pirate-ey action of the most intense type imaginable.

See how me band o'hearties fared in combat in 5 pages, 200 pictures and several thousand words of puns, random links, irrelevant videos and three of the best episodes of Madaxeman TV ever broadcast!

Arrr!

That's the sort of attitude that would see all of you ancients players being asked to walk the plank ...

Apparently a drunken pirate has an incoherent understanding of pirate ratings.

Right, so Pirate troop ratings are:

Drunken, Blood thirsty, Mad and Incoherent then. Seems about right.

I take it this unit has all the pirates with wooden legs massed in it?

Very entertaining reading as always, the ship was excellent and always nice to see an army used because it is so much fun :D
