What to choose while waiting
So, my anniversary coupon just landed 2day (Thank you Matrixgames ), and since the release of PC2 seems to be hidden in Fog of War, I can surely listen to any recommendations that you may have, time-period notwithstanding.

Order of Battle World War II (it's for free) and Panzerkrieg DLC !!!
Battle Academy series are also outstanding...

Panzer Strategy comes out of early access next week. Going to give it a go because it's the only type of game I really enjoy.

Thanks,
I plunged in the deep and bought TOAW4. Hopefully I didn't bite more than I can chew

You must read the manual carefully before you start THIS game.Aiscalp wrote:Thanks,

Tutorial missions don't help in anything here. Good luck!

Re: What to choose while waiting
I checked the introduction and this 3D adaptation is exactly the direction I hope PC2 will not go to - if you like it though then enjoy!huckc wrote:Panzer Strategy comes out of early access next week. Going to give it a go because it's the only type of game I really enjoy.

Yeah, I guessed as much. At least I'm aware of the counters thanks to HOI3 and I'm not allergic to readingkondi754 wrote:You must read the manual carefully before you start THIS game.Aiscalp wrote:Thanks,

I didn't suggest anything like that.
I played in Decisive Campaign series and I started also this game but there is too much differences between so I put the TOAW IV on the shelf because I don't have time to read at this moment.

I also recommend this game. Decisive Campaigns: Barbarossa especially.kondi754 wrote:I played in Decisive Campaign series
The game is hardcore, enjoyable and quite easy to learn.
Make love, not war.
Re: What to choose while waiting
The concept it´s interesting but the graphics are terrible. Just terrible. Apart from the oversized infantry please take a look at the perspective of the rendered units...it´s totally messed up. Some are shown in a (more of less) isometric view but others seems rendered form a much higher point of view, there are different camera angles and POV all at the same time on a flat map. Visually this game it´s a mess.

Unity of Command, if you haven't already. I've just rediscovered how great it is, after letting it rest for a while. Liking it so much I even did another community scenario for it, 7 years after initial release...

--> i totally agree. i have tried to play several times to this game and i can't stand the graphics. it is so poor... how could you have an immersive game on WW2 with theses graphics? it is like nato symbols. it is horrible.
