Game freezes while loading user scenario

I have made a little test scenario with the editor, but the game freezes after the force selection screen (i.e. the red loading bar stops moving and nothing happens anymore).

I have the steam version of the game and all the DLCs installed.

This happens with both 1.1.4 and the open beta.

I have attached the scenario in question.

i'm sorry to say there is no staff or tech support for home made, best advice is go to the modding section and asking in there, sorry

Is there anything of note in the error.log file (My Documents/My Games/SANCTUS) (any errors will be at the end of the file) immediately after you run and crash the offending scenario?
