Re: fortified camp
There should be a number of Roman lists on Nik's website http://www.endoftime.pwp.blueyonder.co. ... ylists.htmdomblas wrote:hi

There is no such thing as MIR in FoG. There is Principate, Dominate and Foederate Roman.
The early half of the DBM MIR list is in Principate and the later half in Dominate.
Visigoths wil mostly be Average Heavy Foot Protected Impact Foot Swordsmen. There is a report from the first FoG tournament where I used a Visigoth army so you can probably base a list on that viewtopic.php?t=2249&highlight=usk+visigoth
Hope that helps

Mounted cannot take a fortified camp. Foot on a 5 or 6. Quality re-rolls apply

Re: fortified camp
Elephants can take a fortified camp. The foot must be battle troops - not skirmishers. And camps must be charged in the impact phase, or pursued into, - moving into contact in the movement phase is no longer an option.Mounted cannot take a fortified camp. Foot on a 5 or 6. Quality re-rolls apply

Re: fortified camp
Doesn't mention elephants on page 86? It states
"A fortified camp is assumed to be defended by camp guards, who must be defeatd by foot battle troops before the camp can be sacked. For simplicity, this is dealt with as follows. In the melee phase of each turn, each enemy battle group of foot battle troops in front corner or at least partial front edge contact with the camp rolls one dice, the defenders none. A score of 5 or 6 is needed to successfully sack the camp."
