Screen resolution

Post by cdcool »

How do you get this game to take adavantage of higher resolutions?
I'm running it at 3840 x 2116 and it looks like 1920 x 1080 inside the game, everything is large (UI). it is not taking advantage of the higher resolution.
Thanks

The game is having a problem with the resolution, I get a message: problem with finding 3840 x 2116 resolution and then the game goes into a very small window. it's the resolution.

I notice on my Surface Pro 3 (2160x1440) a small sliver of the right edge of the main game is off screen and I see no way to fix it.

I fixed this issue on my Surface Pro3 by switching the default 150% DPI setting to 100%.

dpi settings on almost all games will give errors on higher than 100% DPI unless scaling is altered to suit as it's a none standard display size / res, normally used by none default laptops or tablets for little support screen sizes or none default size screens, with an odd pixel or 2 out error.

eg: 15" screen may work on one screen but on a 15.1 it may or may not give a error

Code: Select all

same for win 8 and win 10 tbh
