Regarding template.png

Where do people usually get them? What's the proper size? Is there a thread somewhere?
Thanx and cheers from Virginia.

If you mean the map template used as an underlay, the correct file is template.jpg.
There are zillions of maps floating around the internet.
A good source for free quality maps (many military maps as well) is https://legacy.lib.utexas.edu/maps/

And a template.png file won't work as a template if I remember correctly.

Exactly, only template.jpg works :!:
I usually work on image with png format and then convert the image in template.jpg format to use in OoB Scenario Editor

Yeah, I meant to say jpeg (i am forever using those 2 terms interchangeably) and was hoping there was a military map site somewhere
that had actual battle maps. Thanks for the replies guys. :)
Cheers from Virginia.

The map link I provided has a large number of official US and UK military maps. I've used this site multiple times (and I do have quite a few scenarios under my belt :D ).
Check it out.
