"The Moment"
Anyone else get this?
I've been tinkering with a new scenario, and though the idea is sound, it's just been painful to get it to play out in a way that was "fun" rather than a one dimensional replay.
Anyway, I had another look at what it was that I actually wanted to achieve in the latter parts of the missions and worked backwards and eventually ended up taking out about a 1/3 of the "front". And you know what, I promptly sat there and played the mission for 22 turns and it was just enjoyable and interesting. It was a great "moment"

Re: "The Moment"
That's when I know a scenario of mine is ready. Unfortunately, I don't experience "The Moment" very much.

We're just a step away from turning this thread into something amusing, associated with certain advertisements that we see regularly concerning male prowess.
Which is unfair to Shards because he was simply expressing joy. Therefore, I am forestalling myself but I am powerless to prevent what I see as inevitable in this thread.

Re: "The Moment"
Thanks, Shards! A few weeks earlier I've done some testing with changing the music within OoB and I forgot to delete the new music titles afterwards from my mod.
And I kid you not, exactly as my new units finally appeared and worked as they should - EXACTLY at that moment one of those music files began to play, and it was Sia's "Flames" playing with the "Go, go, go. Figure it out, figure it out, you can do this" refrain. Just...PERFECT!

Whilst driving back to the UK through Sweden last week, their local FM radio had that SIA song on the playlist. Couldn't help but think of your success Gabe
(edit: Interesting, I've still got my Lizard avatar! (none of the powers though))

Re: "The Moment"
Me myself, I probably won't be able to think of anything ELSE but that "OoB-moment" when listening to it...
...and I'm glad to see you're still around, Shards!
