Yeah, it was surprising to find a Gurkha with PIAT among the unused models. JP and US Marines and Paras also received AT weapon models, besides the unused Finnish Ski Panzerfaust models.
At least German paras and mountain troops were heavily busy in regular infantry anti-tank role in the last two years of WW2, same with Allied paratroopers like during Market Garden.

Yep, I think I've fixed all my infantry idle and weaponEffects by now, but I'm not really paying much attention to these after a couple of years anymore anyway.

:D Yeah, me, too. If it wasn't for terminator, I would've never seen many of those, either.

BT-42 (1068 & 3077) :

3 defense values differ between the 2 versions (1068 & 3077):
- defense against artillery
- defense against air targets
- defense against naval targets

An attack value is unusual (1068) :
- air attack against small targets ???

There are still cost-differences between early JP/US infantry types compared to later introduced factions. I leave it you guys to report them.

Could you explain a little more ?
I don’t know what you’re talking about because I’m not currently playing with the units you’re talking about (I am playing Winter War and my Mod actually).

I don’t know what is the best strategy to report unit bugs : is it necessary to report each unit bug in the bug database or simply refer to the topic once for all ?

For example, japanese_infantry_40 costs 35 while German/Soviet only 30.
I recommend copying & pasting the names and their costs to an extra spreadsheet for a better overview.
I leave it to you if and how you report it, as I don't care about vanilla stats and play with my own stats since ages.

For me it is not really a bug but rather a balancing problem. Another question: must all infantry units of the same type but belonging to different nations have strictly the same statistics ?

I think clear-cut bugs can be reported in the bug DB. So something that is clearly wrong, like wrong traits, wrong movement type or chassis, missing stats or switch units not working etc.

I prefer to keep mere stat adjustments out of the DB, rather have an open forum thread for debating them, esp. when they are a matter of opinion, and no outright tech problem.
