I gather awsum has changed his name by right of conquest to Mc, O', von awsum die Schweizer...Warning: He may well well add "The Holy Roman Emperor Reborn" to his titles before long!
Although, we did find this record in a local artists sketchbook of his "German peasants on training day: Day 100."

Battle of Burnham Wood - a comment by noted historian, Charles Spencer Tracy (1989)

Historians now know that the Lord Protector Alan de l'Angle was not in fact present on the battlefield. A few days prior to the landing of Teutonic Knights in Sandwich (Kent), he had taken a ship from Portsmouth, heading for his preferred Spanish second home. This was just as well. On the battlefield, his untrained archers failed to reproduce their fine recent performance at Towton. Some were seen running headlong into pike blocks and others simply turned their backs on incoming cavalry and awaited the inevitable. Such stoic courage went unrewarded. The bargain basement landsknechts, offered to the English by kindly dukes in Allemania, were last seen surrendering to teuton light horse. A sad but instuctive day in the annals of English military history and the dawn of a new Teutonic era for these fair isles.

If we fail, the Polish usurper of Turkey and Russia will gain the dominant control of Europe and the Title of the Holy Roman Emperor Reborn...owning Russia, Turkey and either Morocco or Italy, and owning 10 territories...no pressure!

Rules: Owning ten territories and at least 3 preowned & named territories wins the title: ‘Holy Roman Emperor Reborn’ ending the game.

What period would you like to play? Feel free to set up the game with your army and the appropriate opponent. Or I can do it if you tell me what army you want to play with.

Much as I would like to defend Algeria I am unable to as I dont own it.

It is a little late in the campaign season for me as I am off on glorious military adventures in the great southern continent recently discovered by the Dutch.

I've stuck to the rules as far as pot luck armies, version3, and medium size, but have gone for agricultural as neither of us likes heaps of shit terrain,
